For a long time shopping sustainably felt impossible, especially when it was fast fashion companies who could frivolously manufacture clothing in response to ‘trending’ shapes and sizes. You could barely find the clothes that fit your individual frame, let alone sustainably. In 2025, we are lucky enough to have brands globally that set out to change that.
One group of sufferers victim to the exclusivity of fashion is the tall yet slim guy. Introducing Just Tall, a sustainable and ethical clothing brand specialising in a range of extra long t-shirts, jumpers and polos without the extra width.

Who are Sustainable Clothing Brand ‘Just Tall’?
Resident tall guy Ben (6’5”), founded Just Tall in 2022 after getting tired of having to wear horrible fitted clothing, and disappointed by what the ‘Big and Tall’ stores had to offer. He personally understood that not everyone gets wider the taller they are – nothing seemed to fit in regular stores (too short) or in the big and tall stores (too baggy).
Ben took it upon himself to change that and, just like that, Just Tall was born – a simple yet sustainable tall brand for those ‘just tall’ guys.
Ethical Fashion with Tall Sizes
Just Tall’s range of apparel is designed for tall, slim and athletic men between 6’2” and 7’2”, offering them well fitting long and short sleeved t-shirts, polo shirts and jumpers. Their sizing is split into 5 unique body types, with great detail on how to find the perfect fit for you, but with the guarantee of being 7.5cm longer than the regular sizes! It isn’t just the body length that they account for, but the long-sleeve t-shirts and jumpers also have an extra 2.5” length in the arms.
When shopping, each category type of top has lots of details about the collection, including the sustainable materials used, how to care for the item, information on if the clothing fits true to size and what makes it perfect for the tall athletic guy!
Sustainable Fashion for Tall Men
Organic Clothing
It is no secret that it takes A LOT of water to produce a cotton t-shirt. However Just Tall only uses sustainable fabrics, such as the 100% organic, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified cotton, which uses up to 90% less water! When producing organic cotton there is also no use of harmful chemical fertilisers, which notoriously damage the soil, surrounding environment, and can pollute freshwater sources used for drinking.
Just Tall products are also OEKO TEX certified. OEKO TEX is a world leader in testing fabrics for substances that could be harmful to people or the planet, by testing fabric, thread, buttons and accessories against over 1,000 harmful substances – yes 1,000!
Sustainable Packaging
When sending out the clothing, Just Tall uses Polybags Ltd for their external poly mailers. The packaging is made from Ravalene, a 100% recycled natural LDPE compound from post industrial sources. As only 9% of recyclable plastic eventually makes it through the recycling process, the use of post-recycled plastic in Just Tall’s packaging is a great commitment to reducing waste at every angle.
A Sustainable Brand with a Conscience
Somewhat most importantly, Just Tall believes in “Less is More”. In comparison to their fast fashion counterparts (who mass produce on an enormous scale, failed or unsold stock ending up in landfill) Just Tall produces limited quantities based on market demand. Buying limited quantities of carefully crafted apparel always costs more, but it does allow Just Tall to boast ZERO waste, which is fantastic!
Ethically Manufactured Tall Clothing
Just Tall makes it clear that poor-quality throwaway fashion and the exploitation of garment workers are two non-negotiables. All of the factories they source from have achieved GOTS certified status. The GOTS certification doesn’t just ensure safety for the environment, but it also ensures that workers have protected wages, the prohibition of child or forced labour, ensuring gender equality and eliminating violence and discrimination against workers.
Workers who are part of Just Tall’s garment factory receive several benefits including free transportation to and from the facility and a 50% discount on meals. They also ensure that the lowest paid worker at their facility is earning 30% above the local legal minimum wage.
The GOTS “No hazard in, No hazard out!” policy protects workers and shoppers alike from the exposure to toxic chemicals, such as heavy metals or anything that could pose a threat to human or environmental health.
Transparency in the Fashion Industry
It is essential for brands to build trust with their consumers regarding claims of sustainable and ethical practices. Just Tall are as transparent as can be, achieving a perfect score against our transparency criteria! They are currently operating with 80% traceability throughout their supply chain, aiming for 100% by 2026, an aspiration we love to hear!
On their website they have full visibility up to Tier 3 factories used throughout the supply chain including the spinning, knitting, dying and manufacturing facilities. You can easily check out the legitimacy of each claim for yourself, as they include the certification that every facility used in the supply chain has achieved – pretty great!
They already operate with 100% traceability of the final production, as they source all garments from one factory, making it much simpler to audit and assess their sustainability and fair labour practice. You can find important details like the factories’ name, address and website, but that wasn’t enough for Just Tall, they are even commencing their annual visit to the garment manufacturer themselves to assess how well they are doing!
It doesn’t just stop with the garment supply chain, Just Tall also have all the information about Polybags Ltd – where they source their packaging – including a data sheet of details on how much of the material is made from recycling (>95%) and where exactly the recycled material comes from (post-industrial).
An Ethical and Sustainable Brand that Gives Back
One of the principals Just Tall is most proud of is their dedication to giving back and, by doing so, making a tangible impact to local communities. Instead of following the route of so many brands (committing to an ambiguous donation of net profits) Just Tall works with ‘Work for Good’, simply giving 2% of EVERY sale to a designated cause. This is made totally clear with you, the shopper, as exactly how much of your purchase will be donated is displayed at checkout!
So that more can benefit from their impact, the recipient cause is changed every quarter, leaving everyone a winner. Just Tall also operates their donations with complete transparency as well, demonstrating how your purchases are really making an impact.
Some examples of charities who have benefited so far include Magic Breakfast – a charity offering breakfasts to over 200,000 underprivileged children in schools across England and Scotland – and Centrepoint – a charity dedicated to ending youth homelessness in the UK.
Just Tall’s Eco-Stylist Brand Rating
