Patagonia Women’s Iron Forge Hemp® Canvas Barn Work Coat in Dark Ash

Built for hard work on chilly days, our Iron Forge Hemp® Canvas Barn Coat is made from a strong and supple 55% industrial hemp/27% recycled polyester/18% organic cotton blend that’s 25% more abrasion resistant than conventional cotton duck canvas and needs no break-in. One of the world’s strongest natural fibers, the hemp content provides superior toughness and durability; the recycled polyester and organic cotton provide a soft hand and allow a tighter weave for increased abrasion resistance. With a roomy fit for freedom of movement, the interior of the coat is insulated with 100-g Thermogreen® 100% polyester (92% recycled) for toasty warmth; the 100% organic cotton corduroy collar is nice ‘n’ easy on the neck. The front zipper has an oversized pull for easy operation with work gloves or cold hands, and a full-length flap over the zip closes securely with snaps to keep the wind out. The left chest has a drop-in patch pocket, with a snap-closure pocket on the right chest; the two large lower handwarmer pockets are lined with brushed fleece to give chilly hands a break. Two buckle straps can be cinched down for a custom fit through the sides and back; cuffs have adjustable snap closures. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn.
