Transparency
- Tentree has a detailed factory list available on their website and regularly audits their suppliers.
- They provide their suppliers with a Code of Conduct.
- Tentree partnered with Textile Genesis, a digital supply chain mapping tool, to increase their transparency across the entire supply chain.
Fair Labor
- Tentree requires suppliers to follow their Code of Conduct ensuring their workers a fair wage, no forced labor, and safe working conditions.
- Tentree audits their factories with BSCI, SA8000, Fair Trade, SEDEX, and WRAP standards.
- Tentree is piloting involvement at the community level by planting trees in communities all over the world.
- Tentree can improve their Fair Labor score by sharing what percentage of their clothing makers earn a living wage, and having goals to improve it.
Sustainably Made
- Tentree invests in circularity by partnering with SuperCircle, allowing customers to send back clothes which are then resold or responsibility recycled.
- Tentree works with manufacturers to reduce emissions and encourage sustainability. They partner with programs such as Eden Reforestation Projects working to reduce extreme poverty and restore healthy forests by employing local villagers to plant millions of trees every year.
- They only source eco-friendly materials like organic cotton and hemp, using no animal products.
- Tentree has replaced all single-use packaging with more sustainable options.
