- The brand now shares a list of their factories with visibility up to Tier 2 levels and deep dive information sharing into individual factories.
- Everlane has also signed the ‘Transparency Pledge’ which is a commitment by apparel and footwear companies to demonstrate transparency in their manufacturing supply chains.
- The brand has made efforts to tackle the challenges of unauthorized subcontracting through their Code of Conduct.
Fair Labor

- Everlane has a Vendor Code of Conduct (VCoC) which is applicable across their factories with the mandate of posting the VCoC in the native language(s) of all workers in their facilities.
- Everlane has feedback loops in place for its workers, including a ‘Worker Sentiment Survey’.
- 87% of Everlane partner factories have an active workers trade union and 70% have a collective bargaining agreement in place.
- Everlane can improve on fair labor by providing living wages to workers across their factories. The brand is making progress on this front per their disclosures but is yet to achieve this milestone.
Sustainably Made

- Everlane measures its environmental impact, including estimates of carbon emissions and water consumption in manufacturing. They disclose this information in their annual Impact Report as well.
- The brand is actively working to reduce their CO2 emissions and have signed up with SBTi. They aim to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
- Everlane products boast of an impressive line of brand-level certifications, including, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), and Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS), the European FlaxTM Linen standard, Good Cashmere Standard® (GCS), Good Earth Cotton®, and ZQRXTM wool.
- Everlane enforces strict wastewater guidelines with its partner facilities in alignment with ZDHC and is making efforts to avoid and eliminate the use of hazardous chemicals in production.

- Since 2019, Everlane has successfully removed all virgin plastics from their packaging and uses recycled FSC-certified shippers and protective paper bags, as well as 100% recycled LDPE plastic polybags.
